Yakult pop-up card

This is the first pop-up card I tried to design after making the pop-up cards from Canon to research how to make one. I figured out some vital information and also which formula's I need to use to calculate to make certain shapes. I made the cutout template first using a pencil and normal paper, to make a prototype to see if its really works. The prototype had a problem with the top part of the Yakult bottle, it wouldn't unfold back to the shape when it was flatten. But i though this was caused by the weak thin paper. But in the final version I used a thicker paper and it still don't unfold. Also try to find a way to unfold but its just too technical to get it unfold correct. But I learned a valuable lesson and maybe found the problem. But for now a preview of the Yakult bottle pop-up.

Beckham soccer shoe

This soccer shoe is designed for the kicksguide contest with the theme "Bend it like Beckham". I used Adidas cause the main sponsor of Beckham is Adidas already. The shoe have special breathing and cooling fabric so the feet's don't get too hot. It have a flap covering the laces and is strapped down with velcro. The rear of the shoe have special carbon with flexible and hard area's, made with a special way applying different resin. This way the shoe is light but also got a strong heel protector. Cause of the clean and simple shape there are allot of area's left for sponsoring, that why the sponsor and the logo of Beckhams team LA Galaxy is applied. This contest ends 8/19/07.

Dynamic CD packaging templates

Here are the templates to fold the dynamic cd packaging. Fold the red lines and cut the black ones. A tip to fold it easier and straight, is to use an embossing pen to trace the lines to it is easier to fold. If you want to make this without having to print the lines over the design, print this templates on a loose paper and trace the lines using a lightbox and an embossing pen. This way could make a cool design on this template without having to see these lines. Also it is best to fold every fold first and then paste it together.

Print them out with 72dpi and without fit to page or scaled. If you want to have a PDF file of these templates, you have to e-mail me your information and why you want to use this for.

Revision of the 3rd design. I revised it after the comment of the contest holder. I made a more detailed yarn and made the name bigger. Also tried more color combinations. I also made it underline the name better
