In this video I am trying our a tripod chair by Velbon, the Chairpod HY127. Honeslty it is an interesting concept, but it doesn't work as the persons sitting in this would need to sit very still, as any movement would add shakes to the tripod making the shots shakey and useless. Honestly could not find a good reason to get this chair as there isn't many places where you couldn't just have a separate chair and a tripod with you to do the same thing.
